Service

Aspect Research provides the Aspect Code CLI tool and web service for generating AI coding guidelines. The service includes static code analysis, LLM-powered optimization, and cloud preference synchronization.

Accounts

A Google account is required to use the CLI. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Do not share CLI tokens.

Free tier

The free tier includes a limited lifetime token allocation for the hosted LLM proxy. When exhausted, you may upgrade to Pro or provide your own API key.

Pro tier

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time. No refunds for partial months.

Bring Your Own Key

When using your own API key, LLM calls go directly to your provider. We are not responsible for charges incurred with your provider. Your API key is never transmitted to our servers.

Acceptable use

Do not abuse the hosted LLM proxy (excessive automated requests, reverse engineering, or reselling access). We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate rate limits or abuse the service.

Open source

The Aspect Code CLI is open source under the MIT license. The web application and cloud services are proprietary.

Liability

Aspect Research services are provided “as is.” We make no warranties about the accuracy or completeness of generated guidelines. You are responsible for reviewing all output before committing to your codebase.

Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
